Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Halal Scanner (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Service Description

Halal Scanner provides food ingredient verification tools, including a website database and mobile application for checking halal status of ingredients and food products. Our service is provided as a reference tool and should not be considered a religious authority.

Disclaimer

Halal Scanner is a reference tool, not a religious authority or medical device. While we strive for accuracy based on scholarly consensus, ingredient formulations change and manufacturing processes vary. We strongly recommend: (1) always reading physical product labels, (2) consulting your local Islamic authority for specific dietary rulings, (3) not relying solely on any app for life-critical dietary decisions.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying information independently. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access unauthorized features, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

All content on Halal Scanner, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halal Scanner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
