Halal Scanner was created with a simple but powerful mission: to make halal food verification accessible, accurate, and instant for Muslims everywhere. In a world where food manufacturing is increasingly complex and ingredient lists are hard to decode, we believe every Muslim deserves a reliable tool to make informed dietary choices.
What We Offer
Our platform combines a comprehensive ingredient database with advanced barcode and text scanning technology. We cover 200+ food ingredients and 100+ E-numbers, each analyzed with reference to scholarly consensus from major Islamic jurisprudence bodies including the Islamic Fiqh Academy, JAKIM, MUI, and more.
Our Approach
We follow the principle of presenting the majority scholarly opinion while acknowledging differences of interpretation where they exist. Our content is designed to educate and inform — we always recommend consulting with your local Islamic authority for specific dietary guidance. We never present ourselves as a religious authority, but rather as a reference tool built by Muslims, for Muslims.
